We would like to inform you of ongoing disruptions affecting shipments in several European regions.
Italy – Haulier and Farmer Protests: Following an earlier suspension of pickup and delivery activities in Campania, Basilicata, Calabria, Puglia and Sicily, our carrier has provided the following update:
Campania: Collection and delivery services remain suspended in the provinces of Caserta and Naples (excluding the city of Naples). Sicily: Collection and delivery services resumed on 20 October, except in the provinces of Catania and Syracuse. Calabria: Collection and delivery services resumed on 20 October, except in the province of Catanzaro. Ongoing roadblocks and protests in Campania, Calabria, Sicily and Lazio continue to impact transport routes and may cause additional delays. Expected delay: 2-4 business days
France: Due to flooding in the Marseille region we expect delay in deliver/processing of mail and parcels.
Expected delay: 2-3 business days
Spain: Due to adverse weather conditions in Valencia, Murcia, Balearic Islands, Cádiz and Castellón please consider delay in deliver/processing of mail and parcels in these and surrounding regions.

We would like to inform you of several ongoing disruptions that may impact the collection and delivery of shipments across parts of Europe.
Italy - Expected delay 2-4 working days:
Strikes, protests and transport blockades are affecting road transport in Southern Italy. The most impacted regions are Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania and Sicily.
Shipments destined for certain affected areas may be temporarily held at our Northern Italy hubs and forwarded once transport restrictions are lifted.
Due to severe disruptions in Calabria and Sicily, we recommend postponing shipments to these regions until conditions improve.
Spain - Expected delay 2-4 working days:
Heavy rainfall and flooding have impacted parts of Alicante, Valencia, Murcia, the Balearic Islands, Cádiz and Castellón. Collections and deliveries may experience delays due to adverse weather conditions and potential traffic restrictions. At this stage, delays are expected to vary by location and weather developments over the coming days.
France - 1-2 working days Recent demonstrations have caused disruptions in several cities. While depots remain operational, driver safety remains the priority.
DPD Germany has informed will perform a scheduled system maintenance on 21 October 2026 between 15:00 and 16:00 CEST. During this period, the DPD DE Webservice API may experience limited availability and intermittent connection interruptions.
